When we first wrote this, we were very few badly damaged individuals looking for something honest,truthful and new with no religion, no mentors or gurus, sponsors or priests. Today we have more than fulfilled this dream.
When we trump a person’s right to make autonomous decisions we send the message of incompetency and failure.
By giving a label We teach others not to trust themselves. We teach that experience is a pathology rather than an opportunity for self-study and growth. We teach that “symptoms” or “defences” are a problem rather than a window into a world of deeper meaning and history.
We teach that life’s answers are outside of ourselves, that the truth is not within, and that our best bet is not to look within for guidance.
