So, in this way, while we feel like we have a justified reason to be angry, we are just finding more ways to hurt ourselves in the process.
We can also use negative emotions to make MASSIVE positive change in our lives. But that’s not what or who we are posting about or to right now. We are talking to those of us who just like to stay angry. Maybe not at everyone, but at least just that ONE .. PERSON!
That anger lives in us and affects how we are feeling.Your biography becomes your biology. So, all those thoughts you are holding in that are charged with anger, resentment and the like – are actually affecting your body. That tension, that anxiety, that upset stomach, that sleeplessness – that’s all in you and a byproduct of the state of your child hidden within you.
Now – there are PLENTY of times when it’s appropriate to get angry. But staying angry for long periods of time is another thing. Staying angry, holding grudges and choosing the righteousness of justified anger is choosing the path where yesterday’s medicine is now today’s poison.
So my question for you today is this: Do you love yourself enough to let it go? Do you love yourself enough to choose loving- kindness over being right? Do you love yourself enough to not need to justify a response and simply just let it and them go?
Can you give up the ancient war? And as a result reclaim your life and acknowledge the child within you and let it out that is dying to be expressed in your recovery?
Are you ready to let go so you can finally get to living? Not for their sake, but for yours?
The Ten Stages is a studied recovery course. It is a source of reconnection a method of unlearning and a reintroduction to our child within which leads us back to our one true intuitive voice. We start to learn and come out of our protective dysfunctional shell and reclaim our lives.
