There is NO DIRECT PRESSURE to learn during the Stages (no tests, no grades, etc.).
There is NO TIME LIMIT for learning (no end of the semester).
There is NO WAY OF ESCAPING into a different problem or dysfunction (no vacations).
Our recovery is NOT SEQUENCED BY ANY preconceived idea (no textbook).
There are LOTS OF REPETITION. Our lives contain repetitions and the language around us constantly reflects it.
Both the LANGUAGE AND THE WORLD ARE NEW to the child within (and therefore interesting).
All the language is spoken IN THE CONTEXT OF THE SURROUNDING REAL WORLD.
RECOVERY IS ALL AROUND. The child has native speakers of his or her childhood world speaking and sharing a similar experience to him/her often.
The child has MANY OPPORTUNITIES FOR USING the language of childhood to communicate to those around him/her.
THE LANGUAGE IS SIMPLIFIED to the level of understanding of the child. It is tailor-made for the child who rejects adult parental voices
The Ten Stages is a studied recovery course. It is a source of reconnection a method of unlearning and a reintroduction to our child within which leads us back to our one true intuitive voice.We start to learn and come out of our protective dysfunctional shell and reclaim our lives.
